It would be naïve to think that you believe everything we say here without questioning. We’re aware that Open Eyes is sustanaible for itself as an enterprise. An alternative enterprise having a clear social goal.
That’s why we’ve thought it’d be a good idea to give the floor to people that has travelled with us in our sustainable trips –people we’ve managed to get in love with our unique brand of trips to India. Today, Rocío Tizón will share with us some words about the solidarity action trip from last September:
“My travel with Open Eyes has been a really intense experience, yet an enriching one; there’s no way I can forget it. The rest of the group was great, amazing sightseeing and human resources with great empathy; always ready to lend a hand or clear our doubts.
The organizations were wonderful as well, a real example of everything that can be done to change the world for the better. The solidarity action trip has given us the chance of venturing into Indian culture, knowing extraordinary people… even getting a better understanding of ourselves.
Coming to India has helped me see reality with naked eyes, in a constant adventure. I’ve been through one thousand moods in just one day, and I’ve come back with the feeling that, maybe, we’re ignoring the things that really matter. India has charmed me so much that I’ve opened Indian Smile, a blog where I update my friends the experience of the trip.”
If this has piqued your curiosity, please don’t hesitate to contact us, or maybe check our sustainable trips offer. At Open Eyes, we have a trip for each type of person and we are also happy to receive writings from previous travellers such as Rocío. Anytime new travellers share their experiences with us, we’ll upload them.
Stay tuned for more!
