The Solidarity Action Trip (Cooperation and Cultural Immersion) is an alternative trip to get to know India through a different and transforming experience in which you will come into direct contact with the reality of the country and the plurality of its people, while you get closer to the world of international cooperation.
In a fifteen-day tourist route through Agra, Pushkar, Jaipur, Delhi and Varanasi you will get to know the great cultural and religious diversity of India, as well as its great social contrasts.
This trip offers you the possibility of getting to know places normally excluded from the tourist routes, entering neighborhoods and communities with different religious beliefs, castes, social classes and occupations.

DAY 1 Arrival in Delhi
DAY 2 Wrap yourself in the bustle, aromas, and colors of this vast city and experience the Night Train.
DAY 3 and 4 Experience Indian rural life in Jaipur: craft workshops, starry nights and deep cultural exchange.
A slow and sustainable journey to connect with yourself and the community.
DAY 5 Unforgettable experiences in rural Jaipur
DAY 6 Transport yourself back to the 17th century and climb Amber Fort with an ethical eye.
DAY 7 Say hello to the Taj Mahal and be amazed by this monument to love in India.
DAY 8 to 13 Cultural immersion in one of the most energetic and fascinating cities in India, Varanasi.
Together with the NGO Seed for Change you will participate in projects that transform lives and the environment.

DAY 14 Domestic flight and return to the capital.

1. Do I need a visa to enter the country?

To visit India, you will need to apply for a tourist visa.
The process is simple and is done completely online.
We will provide you with all the necessary information so that you can complete the application smoothly.

2. Is India safe for a woman to travel alone? India is an increasingly welcoming country for women travelers. Female tourism has grown significantly, making India an attractive and safe destination. The warmth of its people and its diverse landscapes will captivate you and more and more Indian women are traveling alone in their country, which speaks for itself!

However, India is a country of contrasts and diverse ways of thinking, so it is essential to be aware and respectful of its customs and traditions.

3. What about traveling with children?
Is India a good country?

India is a wonderful destination for family travel.

Its culture puts the family at the center, making adults and children feel welcome.
Our family trips are designed for everyone to enjoy a safe and authentic adventure, promoting conscious parenting and unforgettable cultural experiences.

4. What clothes should I take with me?

In India the climate is basically hot, so we advise you to bring clothes that are not too tight and as breathable as possible.

Due to its strong culture, in some of the less touristy areas we enter in Open Eyes, it is advisable to avoid tank tops or low-cut tops and tight-fitting clothing.

5. Currency and time

The currency in India is the rupee and its approximate exchange rate is 80-85 INR for 1€.

We recommend exchanging currency in the country and from Open Eyes we accompany travelers in the times and places to do it safely and easily.

The time difference with Spain is 3.5 hours from March to September and 4.5 hours from October to February.

PUSHKAR

Pushkar, a unique spiritual enclave dedicated to the god Brahma, is a haven of peace and devotion.

DAY 8 to 14

CULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAM

We enter Varanasi, the holiest city in India, a labyrinth of spirituality and culture.
On the banks of the Ganges, its ghats are resplendent with ancestral rituals, where pilgrims and sadhus seek salvation and divine connection.
The program in Varanasi will last 7 days/6 nights.
There will be 2 days of visits to NGO projects and participation in activities and the rest of the time, there will be city walks and local experiences in this fascinating city.
Experience a concert in this fascinating city, known as a vibrant center of Indian classical music, where the echoes of ragas and tablas resound.
Last day transfer to Delhi.
