Since 2011, Open Eyes has been promoting responsible and sustainable tourism in India.
Our commitment is to respect destinations, generate a positive impact and design high quality experiences for travelers and therefore we avoid large groups so as not to invade cities and rural areas, and not to negatively affect the local socio-cultural and economic aspects generated by massive groups.
We limit our groups to a maximum of 14 people, guaranteeing a more pleasant, exclusive and profound trip.
This facilitates an authentic and respectful connection between travelers, the local community and the environment.

In India the climate is basically hot, so we advise you to bring clothes that are not too tight and as breathable as possible.
Due to its strong culture, in some of the less touristy areas where we go into Open Eyes, it is advisable to avoid tank tops and tight-fitting clothes.

The currency in India is the rupee and its approximate exchange rate is 80-85 INR for 1 €.
We recommend changing currency in the country and from Open Eyes we accompany travelers in the times and places to do it safely and easily.
The time difference with Spain is 3 hours and a half from March to September, and 4 hours and a half from October to February.

Although it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to take out travel insurance.
You can choose the company you prefer, and if you need recommendations, we will provide you with some collaborating options.

To enter India there are no mandatory vaccinations.
On the contrary, if you would like any recommendation, it is advisable to ask for an appointment in Foreign Health.

India, being such a large country, has a wide variety of climatic conditions, and different in the north and south of the country.

  • Cold season (October to April): Generally dry, except in the north where there may be some cold.
  • Hot season (May to June): Very high temperatures, exceeding 42°C in some areas. Monsoon season (June to September): This season is known for its rainfall in various areas, resulting in large showers, followed by sunshine.
