31/07/2015Very often we have been asked, why do you want to be involved in this project? When we get in touch with a community like the Kathputli Colony, the answer is obvious because we have a very clear idea how Open Eyes can empower communities .
The Kathputli Colony is one of the largest communities in North Delhi. There are more than 3,000 artists from around the Rajhastan: acrobats, fire shows, magicians, puppeteers, musicians, long-legged and a lot of art and magic in a community lacking resources.
After a few months working with the Kathputli Colony a project full of creativity has started. A unique experience for any traveler visiting the city of Delhi.
