TRIP ESSENCE
Each day of the Open Eyes retreat will follow a wholesome rhythm. You will wake in a room outfitted with simple furniture, locally from the tree of the Kumaon forest. You will smell the pine trees and hear the songs of the many birds that live in the mountains.
Your day will begin either with an early trek through the forest to the ancient Shiva temples, or in the sanctity of the Yoga room. Meditation will follow, allowing you to ground yourself in the moment and begin your day with clarity.
At breakfast, and other meals, you will see the sun-drenched forest through large windows as you eat pure, fresh Sattvic foods. The luxury of the retreat is in the purity and simplicity of the details, the handcrafted experience, and the space for peace and joy.
In the afternoons, you will trek in the forest and enjoy a very special healing massage. In the evenings, you will experience local culture through music, and connect with like-minded others. We will sit by the fire and talk about wellness themes such as Ayurveda, nutrition, and femininity.
Connect with nature in an aromatherapy forest. Connect with oneself in the practises of Yoga and meditation. Connect with each other in massage, cooking classes, treks to the temple.
