About the Tour

The ‘Walking with Saints in Delhi’ Tour offers insights into intriguing corners of one of the world’s most historical cities, namely Nizamuddin. Named after Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya, who was born in the 13th century, the neighbourhood shows a vibrant mix of old and new, upscale residences and ancient tombs. You will visit this neighbourhood to hear Sufi devotional songs, eat kebabs, and shop in the lively market area. Your guide will be a local youth, trained to help uncover the traditions, monuments, flavours, and history of Nizamuddin. This tour is done in cooperation with an NGO that provides people, especially those who are monetary poor and vulnerable, with opportunities and resources to empower themselves.
